Good Local Markets is an innovative 501(c)3 non-profit, with 2 dynamic weekly farmers markets, workshops and events, bringing healthy food choices and community building assets to Dallas. At each market and event, you will see dozens of local artisans, farmers, ranchers, bakers, chefs and artists. Neighbors visit, music plays, and shoppers stroll for their weekly fare. Our White Rock Farmers Market has been a community anchor since 2009, and Lakewood Village Farmers Market began in 2019 at Mockingbird and Abrams.

Why should your business support Good Local Markets?

Support our Mission

Good Local Markets is the only producer-only farmers markets in Dallas that supports all local farmers, ranchers, and artisans who all come from 150 mile radius of Dallas and are carefully juried. Our markets not only strengthen the local food economy, but we strengthen food access in Dallas through our LoneStar and Farmers Market Nutrition Programs, allowing EBT and WIC users to shop with their public benefits at our markets. Our programs and events help us bring people together to support our local vendors and they help educate the public about healthy eating, eating seasonally, and cooking with fresh produce from the market.

In 2023 Good Local Markets celebrates 15 years of serving the Dallas community. Join us any Saturday or Sunday and see people greet one another, share coffee with their favorite vendors, listening to music, or gathering to discuss news of the day.
